What is it?

Administrative staff at higher education institutions can benefit from the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ program to undertake training mobility within a European partner organization of the university for a duration of two to five days, excluding travel time (as per the internal rule set by the University).

You can consult the available offers here.

The goal of this mobility is to allow:

  • The acquisition of knowledge or practical skills that may be useful in their current job and professional development.
  • Gaining knowledge of best European practices in administrative management.
  • The practical application of the skills acquired from a language course attended at the University Clermont Auvergne as part of staff training.
The stay at the host organization can take different forms: training internships or professional observation periods.

Some contractual rules

Administrative mobility within the Erasmus+ program is subject to certain contractual conditions:
  • A tripartite agreement must be established between the different partners (the administrative staff, the host organization, and the University Clermont Auvergne).
  • The administrative staff wishing to undertake an Erasmus mobility must be employed full-time at the University Clermont Auvergne. They may be permanent or contractual staff.
  • The candidate must follow the different steps outlined in the procedure below.

What financial assistance is available?

Clermont Auvergne University receives funding for this type of mobility. These are STT (Study and Travel) funds, which cover part of the transportation costs and part of the living expenses. In all cases, staff wishing to undertake this mobility must request approval from their supervisor in advance.

How do I submit my request?

  • Consult the list of partner universities, the staff training week options, or the list of available courses.
  • Inform your department head of your intention to undertake a mobility and the proposed dates.
  • Once the mobility is approved by the component head, the candidate must contact the Directorate of International Relations and Francophonie to complete the training agreement.
  • The candidate will then receive a set of Erasmus contractual documents.
  • Once the mission dates are confirmed, the candidate must request a mission order.
